I would be surprised if Gueye's choice isn't UAB or Rutgers.
UAB is a good MM program with a rich basketball history. They have won the C-USA regular season three times in the past 12 years. Due to being in the C-USA it's difficult to get to the NCAA Tournament unless they win the C-USA Tournament.@Russ Wood, I don't know much about UAB's program. Do you know if they have a lot to offer ? Looks like their coach has some Maryland ties and they reached the Round of 32 in 2015.
Hopefully, for Rutgers, the appeal of playing against Big 10 competition can give us an advantage. I hope he takes on that challenge.
Monk, switch to decafe. I do feel your pain though. :)When last we spoke of Alvarado it was RU and SHU RU and SHU then somebody threw in Gtech. Where did he go?Gtech. Now we make it through a UAB and RU thread and at the last frigging moment somebody mentions Depaul? Dammit!!!
Actually it was more like "ignore Georgia Tech and believe the RU and SHU chatter that Zach Brazille (I think it was him) was Tweeting," which had me scratching my head at the time. When last we spoke of Alvarado it was RU and SHU RU and SHU then somebody threw in Gtech. RussWood......Any feel for where this ends up???.....sounds as if you haven't changed the thought process on UAB, based on the last couple of posts here....Actually it was more like "ignore Georgia Tech and believe the RU and SHU chatter that Zach Brazille (I think it was him) was Tweeting," which had me scratching my head at the time.
I admire your passion Sir.I will switch to decaf when this God damned athletic program finally gets its shit together in a state that has as much talent per capita as any.

Not beyond my earlier post but if I hear something from someone who is reliable, I'll post it here.RussWood......Any feel for where this ends up???.....sounds as if you haven't changed the thought process on UAB, based on the last couple of posts here....
Thanks 88 Hopefully some day soon you can buy me decaf..:)
Recruiting is a process where coaching staffs are ultimately evaluated by their ability to close the deal.Rutgers is in a dire need for attracting better talent that can provide immediate help.Recruits with the potential to be consistent scorers against B1G level competition must be a ongoing priority.
