This kid may be the best WR in NJ this year. I sure hope he commits to RU.

Every camp he goes to he gets offered and is the WR MVP or one of the top WRs in the camp.

I might retire in SC some day. Slow, hot livin , w low taxes, and golf ! Didn't we have a 4 star transfer from there recently? I think he's gone now.

Abro,

Before committing to retirement in SC take a look at the west coast of FL south of Tampa. Lots more civilized than SC and much better beaches on the Gulf down here IMHO. I've been living in Sarasota since 1/15 and can't imagine living anywhere else. Check it out.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually have relatives that I visited on Siesta key , near Long Boat Key I think, lovely place. Boca del vista nearby? I'm sick of NJ, but love going to the RU games, and of course my immediate family and wife's are still here in NJ. Probably 4 more years til full retirement.

That was Royster and yes he is gone.
I think we another 3 or 4 star Transfer (LB Lewis ) coming from SC this summer .

Byrd was the WR that is playing well for them. I think he's from south jersey. Not sure if we offered.

What does that even mean? QB's transfer all the time. They have another NJ star player who is a great WR. We never offered. Go figure
Chip, I am still waiting for this answer, who is this great WR from NJ that is playing for SC that RU never offered?

If you are talking about Damiere Byrd you are so wrong on so many things, as usual. But don't let facts get in your way.

Damiere Byrd - logged 68 receptions for 1,265 yards with 10 touchdowns in 47 career games including 20 starts. So that is a great WR over 4 years???????? Great WRs have those numbers in 1 year.

Secondly, he graduated already.

Lastly RU did offer him out of HS.

0 for 3 you are.

SEC " hostesses". Tough to compete with that. But SC as a state is nothing special. Columbia is Africa hot for 6 months a year.

Florida is great in the winter but miserable in the summer.

I'm in Sarasota as well, N. Venice to be exact. But I have to tell you Nightmoves…Charelston and Kiawah area is fabulous in SC.
Have you been to Anna Maria Island, that's where my team-mates and I all lived back when I was with the Pirates, love it there.

Don't know if he was talking about Byrd or not, but Byrd was a speed, deep threat kind of WR, so the numbers he put up were solid. He was not a big body #1 target kind of WR.

Sorry I don't check the board every few hours. Let me know what RU WR in 4 years has similar numbers besides Carroo. Those aren't bad numbers. I thought we didn't offer my bad. Could have swarn it was him I guess it was another WR we never offered. Anyway he's fast and will contribute to the Panthers

Coleman,
Sanu,
Wright,
Carroo,
Harris

All had better numbers than Byrd. So consider that is 5 GREAT WRs that RU has had in the last 4 years.

You continue to prove that you are one of the biggest moron trolls on this board.

you should stop referring to rutgers as "us" or "we". No one here believes that you are a rutgers fan. PSU or Syracuse troll is my guess.

I'm in North Sarasota near the new UTC mall and Lakewood Ranch. Have not spent much time on Anna Maria Island yet but my son and I plant to rent wave runners on the Gulf there next weekend. There are a number of beach bars and restaurants that are very popular there. I'm sure that you and your Buc teammates had some good times there back in the day. Some stories are better left untold, haha.

McKechnie Field has had some extensive renovations and additions done the past few years, including a tiki bar in CF and a boardwalk surrounding the stadium. FL now has a vibrant craft beer industry and two of the better ones are located very close to McKechnie.

When I moved here in January I expected to be playing golf 3x per week, but instead I'm playing lots of senior softball. Softball is very big here and the top league in Sarasota has had former MLB players like Chris Sabo and Arthur Rhodes playing recently. Rhodes is actually a middle reliever and the top pitchers throw knuckleballs, curves and screwballs pretty effectively with a softball. You may know some of the guys currently playing.

South Carolina is a wonderful state, especially along it's Eastern shores.
Winters are mild and shortened, but, you still get all four seasons and
the people there are very nice.

Agreed. I know 5 people who moved there from Jersey. All between the NC border and Charleston. They all love it. On the other hand the one I know who lives near Clemson hates it.

I hope Harmon comes to RU. He seems to be a special player.

I will be pissed if he goes to USC, since my son lives in Columbia and is a big fan.
