Not sure, but a lot of the fans quit.In my opinion, I think they are spent. I do not see them as competitive this week with a team they are at least as talented as.
You think any player that will be on the field Saturday against MD will not give his all? Which seems like what the OP was asking. I think the players will come out and fight hard to win a game for the seniors.I'd say some of the players quit. Not all but some clearly don't care
True but is the nature of the beast. If we were 9-1 and in the game till the end, not too many people would've left, hopefully. Being 2-8 and down a lot when the wind-driven frozen precipitation started is, IMO, understandably beyond most ordinary fan's limits. Not sure, but a lot of the fans quit.
No. PSU couldn't score a touchdown in the first half. An early turnover in the second may have created momentum for PSU and they got their game on, but I think RU played the whole game. I actually do not care for the question. No, it was 9-0 at half against PSU.
Not to mention great coaching. :Ddon't think so, not at all and thats a testament to their mental toughness
lol....this one is on the kids, their upbringing, pride. The coaches stripped them of their season but not their pride :)Not to mention great coaching. :D

I predict that after the 2018 season, you will be Ash's biggest fan. C'mon, admit it. You know you're gonna love him.lol....this one is on the kids, their upbringing, pride. The coaches stripped them of their season but not their pride :)
I hope you prove me wrong but I doubt it:)I predict that after the 2018 season, you will be Ash's biggest fan. C'mon, admit it. You know you're gonna love him.
I hope Ash and the team prove me right. We'll probably have some idea in about twenty one months or so.I hope you prove me wrong but I doubt it:)
Just to put it in perspective, Michigan played in front of 100,000 in a driving snowstorm. For us, by the time the freezing rain started happening, the only people in the stadium that could be found were the teams, cheerleaders, and the band.True but is the nature of the beast. Yep. Is just the how that it is. (Yo, @RU848789; how ya like that last sentence. :D)Just to put it in perspective, Michigan played in front of 100,000 in a driving snowstorm. I think they packed it in after Indiana
I think for the most part players came into games with a positive outlook. As games progress and the score became unfavorable some players became demoralized and their performance made fans think that they quit.My viewpoint is that the team lacks talent and playing a B1G schedule weekly simply wore the team down because there were no play makers to change the tide of games.
Agree with bac that this started after the Indiana game.
I dunno.. hard to explain 9-0 for the 1st half against a ranked team... that is not a team that quit.
I will grant that Bac's example of 3rd and 12 and running seems like quitting on a coach's part. And the offense seems... less inspired than the D... but I do not think that is a team quitting.
They played their butts off against penn state until the tanks were empty. Too bad out safety didn't intercept that pass that hit him in the chestNo, it was 9-0 at half against PSU.

I never said that...I said even though they didn't score from that initial PSU error, it (the PSU fumble) put some extra fire in the RU defense. I edited my original post to clarify.Really? Not scoring was to our benefit? Yikes!!!!!
