Has this season made you lose your enthusiam for college basketball?

I don’t follow college basketball closely unless we’re good.
I can’t consume enough of The BiG Show when we are good, or watch enough BIG games when their outcomes are relevant to our place in the standings.
Agree - when RU is doing well, I'm glued to BTN, and following the results of all the other Big 10 games. This year has been nothing like that and it sucks.

Luckily my personal and professional life and helping my son choose a worthwhile place to donate his time for his 4 years of high school currently leaves very little time for worrying about such things. Life is too short to make this that important.

I agree with many others in this thread. When RU is good and relevant I'm plugged into BTN every night checking in on other games and other scores. Same goes for the big ESPN games some weeknights... this season, I've been so checked out and have barely been tuning in at all. Such a bummer

NIL has ruined college athletics. End of story. Dont want to hear about college athletes and excused from criticism. They are now minor leagues paid at pro level (at least the elite are in FB and BB). Has totally turned me off. Im more interested in the Olympic sports where NIL is not as rampant.

Not really. The Littlepage and Jordan eras did, though. Those teams had no chance in most games. This team at least has a punchers chance if Ace and Dylan are on their games.

well arent you special
Definitely not special just saying that life is more than constant crying about a basketball team. Life goes real fast and bashing kids and coaches twice a week and having the same discussion 3 times a week is not living life but you do you and your buddy too lol.

Who knew for $9.99 a month I’d get access to a message board and life coach.

To answer the OP, yes. But that’s really true for me when any of my teams are having a lousy season. I will say my feelings about college basketball and college sports have probably changed more because of the new landscape.

I've been a fan through Fred Hill Jr., Mike Rice and Banon's free throw incident.

I can handle watching RU have two top 5 NBA lottery picks in the line up.

Absolutely not.

Love college basketball. Couldn't care less if the NBA ceased to exist tomorrow. I'll watch college games regardless who is playing.
