In my opinion if this game was at the RAC where it should have been Rutgers wins…

Not if we played and shot the ball the exact same as we did today. Have to disagree. If you tell me we play at the RAC, if Dylan is 100% healthy and that we don’t have long stretches of having no ability to score any points, then maybe I would agree. But, Dylan would not have been healthy at the RAC, Ace couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat today, and the team had long droughts of not being able to make a field goal and don’t see how that would be much different if we were at the RAC.In my opinion if this game was at the RAC where it should have been Rutgers wins…

Or stop allowing Izzo to not have to bring his Spartans to the RAC. If we continue to play at MSG, have other B1G teams play us.In my opinion if this game was at the RAC where it should have been Rutgers wins…

Nah. Izzo would have coached differently since the game was never in doubt and the RAC isn’t what it used to be. The fans’ passion just doesn’t seem to be there with this group…and I get that. I think we still lose.In my opinion if this game was at the RAC where it should have been Rutgers wins…

The passion is there on a game by game basis, depending on how close we are in the game, and who the opponent isNah. Prior to today's game Izzo had a terrible record at MSG.Or stop allowing Izzo to not have to bring his Spartans to the RAC. If we continue to play at MSG, have other B1G teams play us.
I was at the Seton Hall game which was as close as it gets and it didn’t seem close to the enthusiasm of other Seton Hall games at the RAC. Perhaps because SHU was supposed to suck. This team is a little harder to get behind IMO.The passion is there on a game by game basis, depending on how close we are in the game, and who the opponent is
It is always that way
Both teams played like absolute crapI was at the Seton Hall game which was as close as it gets and it didn’t seem close to the enthusiasm of other Seton Hall games at the RAC. Perhaps because SHU was supposed to suck. This team is a little harder to get behind IMO.
MSU 4-17 all time at the garden coming to todayPrior to today's game Izzo had a terrible record at MSG.
Agree with you. Fans arrive each night in “show me” mode. Then the team’s play, specifically its energy and commitment to defense and rebounding, dictates the crowd’s vibe.I was at the Seton Hall game which was as close as it gets and it didn’t seem close to the enthusiasm of other Seton Hall games at the RAC. Similar to Knick fans during the Riley years. Crowd would chant “D-Fense!” during warmups sometimes.Hot take: Rutgers fans respond better to great defense vs great offense.

What era would you like to discuss? 😎Rutgers fans have seen great offense?
Ridiculous. But just keep beating that same weak, lame drum.In my opinion if this game was at the RAC where it should have been Rutgers wins…

It was a fantastic turnout. Too bad we lost but fans represented. We had 12-13,000 Rutgers fans today.
Today was a great day for Rutgers.Shame we lost but the impact on the day of all who went is positive for Rutgers and building alumni and fan connections.
AbsolutelyWe all clown on Izzo for being scared of the RAC, but we should be clowning on the athletic department for allowing it to happen.
Its meaningless in win loss column and thats what mattersWe had 12-13,000 Rutgers fans today.

Wins and losses stopped mattering when we lost to Princeton in December. Season was toast then. Its meaningless in win loss column and thats what matters
And that was with a healthy Dylan.Wins and losses stopped mattering when we lost to Princeton in December. Season was toast then.
I knew that, but still, he manages to wiggle out at playing us at the RAC where if I recall correctly we blew them out.Prior to today's game Izzo had a terrible record at MSG.
Truth. Don't know why some so-called RU fans try so hard to deny this. 🤔MSU fan friend texting me thank God Dylan was hurt bc there was no way they win this healthy the way they played today
The game was tied so this is pure speculationIf not for miracle shot by Dylan, we lose to Seton Hall.
It really was a fantastic environment. It was an awesome environment today. We need to do this once every year as soon as many new fans sitting in seats that are shut out from the RAC. Everyone I spoke to was thrilled with going there.
The loss sucks but when you shoot 20% FGs you are going to lose.
Rutgers originally tried to set up this game with Michigan at MSG. They couldn’t find a date that would work for them, so we pivoted to Michigan State.Or stop allowing Izzo to not have to bring his Spartans to the RAC. If we continue to play at MSG, have other B1G teams play us.
they shouldnt be trying for any conference game hereRutgers originally tried to set up this game with Michigan at MSG. They couldn’t find a date that would work for them, so we pivoted to Michigan State.
