Hockey Hall of Famer Marcel Pronovost dead at 84

27 April, 2015 - The hockey world is mourning the passing of another legend as the Maple Leafs announced the death of former defenceman Marcel Pronovost at age 84.

One of the greatest defenceman of his era, Pronovost played on five Stanley Cup winners, four with Detroit, and a final one with the Leafs in 1967. Pronovost was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1978.

Marcel Pronovost was an excellent hard noded defensman. Many great yrs. with Detroit. Several with Toronto. On 5 Stanley Cup winners.
