Houston offense- prelude to RU's?

The quarterback is the key to the offense. He must be able to run and also pass the ball while moving out of the pocket. What Rutgers quarterback meets those requirements?
I'm not sure why you quoted my post to make that point. All I was saying is Houston is fun to watch.

Don't think that was Ward Jr. It was O'Korn who played at RU two years ago. Who coincidentally transferred to Meechigan. So he might have a chance to light us up again.

Thanks for the correction but you have just ruined my day!

Was also impressed by Ole Miss offense last night. Great play mix.

How fast do you think Nick Foles is? How about Sam Bradford (post 3 knee surgeries...)?

Those were Chip Kelly's most successful QBs.
So successful that they he's now unemployed. You can't use the pro game as as a real comparison it's apples to oranges. But who were Kelly's most successful qb's in college?

The topic is about the spread offense, not Chip Kelly's ability to bring it to the pros.

My point stands.

BTW: his offense failed in the pros, but QB performance was far from the primary cause.

Most Eagles fans would say WR drops coupled with Demarco Murray being unable to reach the edge all behind a line with gaurds that aren't NFL starters.

Then Chip cut all the playmakers and brought in non-performers.

He's also apparently quite the jerk, which was the final straw.

As a philosophy, the tempo, spread continues to be a potent weapon in Tom Brady's arsenal.

Ash has already stated, several times now, that he DOES NOT need a running qb for this type of offense to be run effectively.
