Flood created the environment to get a top QB from Maryland with 40+ offers to have us in his final 2 or 3 choices. Sure he grew up in NJ, but even kids that are now in Jersey look to get out. Flood is the guy that got commitments from Jabbie and Pollack. Guys that made signing Haskins a legit possibilty. Flood created all this. Sure it didn't ultimately pan out as the kid turned down way bigger programs than us to play for his home state, but Flood should not be scorned for not getting a kid he would otherwise have no business getting. Guarantano is another story, but IMO JG' s dad was a disingenuous ahole.
