But I am more familiar with RWJ St. Barnabas.
"Rutgers Good At Sports Training Center."
"While Rutgers put the price tag for the naming rights to the multisport complex at $10 million earlier this year, two sources with knowledge of the deal said the total payment to Rutgers will be well north of that figure."
"Earlier this week, Ostrowsky told NJ Advance Media that RWJBarnabas intends to invest hundreds of millions of dollars to help catapult Rutgers' medical schools into the "Big Ten'' of research and educational institutions in the nation.
He said the partnership between RWJ Barnabas Health, the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the New Jersey Medical School is still in negotiations and an announcement detailing the arrangement is planned before the end of the year."
Wow.
Rutgers is currently ranked in the Top 25 in the nation for research, this deal will place us in the top ten.
It's more than HPS paid for stadium right by $3.5 million. Can't wait until that deal expires.
OP thanks for posting. Did not see that. Great news.
Scroll down a little further. Not really. Unless I missed it, there was nothing about the naming rights in the link you provided.
We can certainly use the money. However, only outsiders will refer to it by whatever the new corporate name will be. It will ALWAYS be The RAC to everyone in the Rutgers community.BTW... Hobbs is also working on a new naming deal for the RAC itself.
They really need to fix up the facade of the RAC. The plans for the new lobby looked great, it just seems like it's not really in the 2030 plan anymore. We can certainly use the money. However, only outsiders will refer to it by whatever the new corporate name will be. It will ALWAYS be The RAC to everyone in the Rutgers community.
You don't happen to sit in section 106 or 107 for home games, do you? Thought I saw you or someone who looked like you last week, but it has been a lot of years. No worries

I'm confused by your wording. The practice facility will be permanently named whatever the RWJBarnabas folks decide it to be? And we get no more money after that?Keep in mind this is permanent naming rights where football stadium is only a decade. We get to resell it in another 5-6 years.
Still gives good hope for major increase then.

I'm 126 in the StadiumYou don't happen to sit in section 106 or 107 for home games, do you? Thought I saw you or someone who looked like you last week, but it has been a lot of years.
Then I have a bad memory or there is an imposter roaming up the stairs between 106/107.I'm 126 in the Stadium
Dear Dr. Tim Hosea is gone now...RIPThis is great. I wonder if this will have any impact on us using University Orthopaedics as we have for many decades now.
Does anybody call it the Louis Brown Athletic Center? We can certainly use the money. However, only outsiders will refer to it by whatever the new corporate name will be. It will ALWAYS be The RAC to everyone in the Rutgers community.
Yes, but don't we still go to them & use them for most injuries & surgeries? They are 1 of the best orthopedic practices.Dear Dr. Tim Hosea is gone now...RIP
Non-acute, I think so.Yes, but don't we still go to them & use them for most injuries & surgeries? They are 1 of the best orthopedic practices.
It hasn't been the Louis Brown Athletic Center for a few years.Does anybody call it the Louis Brown Athletic Center?
When did this happen? I always thought the official name was the LBAC, but commonly referred to as the RAC. But you're right, the University website refers to it only as the RAC.It hasn't been the Louis Brown Athletic Center for a few years.
