He was the analyst last night . I mean if you aren’t gonna point out what happened on the final play , what the hell are you there for ? He needs to make a statement on Twitter or somewhere. He was quiet for a long time after that shot. You can’t tell me he’s a budding star in this profession after last night. Robbie Hummel make a statement why you didn’t address this during the broadcast. IBilas and others had to bail you out.
Carino and fonseca need to get a statement from Hummel. It comes with the territory Robbie

Probably because he didn’t see it either

Ok fine , if that’s the case he should say that .
Obviously he’s heard all about it and watched the replays by now.
I’m sure when he’s on the B1G show again he’ll say it shouldn’t have counted and was a horrible break for Rutgers.
Once again, the tragedy is it wasn’t reviewable due to no whistles.

A good game analyst gives good analysis during the game.

Because that’s what I think.
He along with 3 refs didn’t see it.
According to Pike the passer went out of bounds before he passed the ball, if the ref saw it he would have blown the whistle
Ok. Hummel owes the viewers an explanation . If he didn’t see it , ok. That’s not asking too much.

We all need to let it go dude.

We lost. On the road. Again. End of story.

Time to move on.

Whistles have nothing to do with it. How often to buzzer shots get reviewed to see if it got off in time without a whistle.

No the bizarre thought is that an announcer needs to issue some kind of public apology for missing something.
Who said apology ? Just address why he didn’t analyze a controversial play . I am sure he’s on social media , it pretty easy to make a comment there . Lots of news media posting and talking about it . Why not the analyst that was there?

Following this logic, John Sterling needs to make a statement after every Yankee game. He gets at least five things wrong every game.

Mel Allen should have made a statement for not analyzing the fact Don Larson’s 3rd strike to Dale Mitchell in the 1956 World Series was a foot outside and low.
Just having fun Pium 😊

You would have a different name if Mitchell had gotten a hit

They should change the rules so that it is re-viewable. Maybe "a coach can challenge one out of bounds violation in the last 30 seconds". The other team gets one free throw, if he loses the challenge. Call it the Rutgers rule. With the game on the line at the end, let's get it right.

Hummel probably should have noticed it but not sure where his view is. The show cut away to the next game pretty quickly. Not mad at him.
