Just tuned in after a frickin' 3 hour drive from Cape May, where we picked up my mom from the ferry, to Ocean City. Everyone's evacuating I guess and every goddamned road was stopped and they had closed off the shore road, which I had planned to take to avoid the Parkway/9. Wanted to kill people.

And I get to our rental at 2:05, instead of at noon, didn't even have my farkin cheesesteak yet, and then it takes me 10 minutes to figure out this stupid streaming thing, as the original I had didn't work and now I have to watch this shitty performance. Color me pissed. We look really bad on both sides of the ball. Horrible. WTF is Goodwin doing in the backfield? 24-0 after 1Q, which translates to 96-0 unless they put the girls team out there. This sucks balls.

Same old Rutgers. Looking at least a 3 year rebuild. If these blowouts don't scare more recruits off.
 
I honestly didn't think Rutgers would be this outclassed. Washington can move the ball with ease and our offense can't do anything against them. It is still early so maybe RU will pull it together as the game goes on.

Some of the blame is on you. This is RU and you are a long time fan, so it should have been expected.

I like RU#s generally, but come on, you make a whole post to make it about you. Pretty sure we all have a sob story, especially with this game being so hard to get.

Relax guys - it was gallows humor, which I thought it was pretty obvious, since I rarely post like that. Guess I need to add emoticons. Anyway, I went for cheesesteaks instead of watching the 3Q, which is unheard of for me as a fan. Just too depressing to watch more of this crap, especially Laviano. No idea what he shows coaches in practice that he doesn't show in games.

after the 1st Q I lowered my expectations to HOPING they didnt score 80 LOL
BTW Goodwin ran for 49 yds(2nd) and caught 5 passes for 46 yds(2nd)
but Hicks was the man...70 yds rushing

Well maybe you should have showed a little patience. Offense and defense looked much better in second half. Very surprised you are in the petulant child crowd on this.

Seriously? The game was over at the half and UW let up off the gas - that's why they only outscored us 14-6 while they still had the starters in. I completely understand everything is new, but I expected us to be at least a little more competitive and I expected Laviano to be improved from last year, which he was not (as I said in the other thread, yes UW was very good, but Laviano had many, many unforced errors).

And while I'm not usually cranky about the team, that changes during games - if I hadn't walked out to get a cheesesteak, I might've taken my son up on his idea to trash the place, since we easily could've blamed it on Hermine, lol.

About which part, the traffic or RU sucking? I knew traffic would be heavy with normal end-of-the-week people heading home, plus some number of evacuees, but I never expected it to be absolute gridlock on not just the Parkway and 9, but even the county roads. If they hadn't closed Ocean Drive in Stone Harbor, I'm sure it would've been a lovely 40 minute leisurely drive along the coast - we hadn't noticed any flooding yet and flooding isn't supposed to become more than minor until tomorrow - no idea why they closed it. As for RU, I thought we'd lose, but not like that - that was brutal.
