Obviously am I super upset, I'm going to drink heavily tonight(In my own home) as a result of this...What do you say?

Secondary was bad? Ok we knew they were going to have trouble against the man that invented the air raid? Was that a shock to anyone? The whole PAC12 will have the same fate?

Offense was bad? We owned time of possession, had close to same amount of yards they did, two penalties erased 14 points...

Laviano? Sure he didn't look good at first but 23 of 29 passing?

Bad coaching? What play do you say holy crap that cost us the game? I mean Maybe more blitzes but what else?

Unexplainable, I will just continue drinking...

Defensive line had how many sacks or pressures?

If I had to choose just 1 thing that sunk us it would be penalties, with turnovers not far behind.

They had 9 people in the box and we never throw the ball deep? Why? Answer that one.

How many plays were a matter of inches? The TD. The call back. The deflected catch on the last drive. Seems like other than the TD at the end, about 6 times it went WSU way.

Thank you for answering quickly withing an hour or two my answers will probably be something like adfcnu fdsuvb oaovn;adf asdfo04 nnva

Laviano had two horrible turnovers, and really should have had a third with that horrible attempt to throw it out of the end zone, if not for the d back breaking up the catch on his own team mate.

By Floods own admission, that should qualify him to sit.

Well, we had far more penalties than a well coached team should ever have imo. We also blew three timeouts way too early -- what was the reason behind wasting the final time out for the field goal when there was 12 minutes left????

IMO, this is EXACTLY the type of game that I wanted the coach to start the year off with and say "we're going to use both QBs all season" rather than commit to one. While Laviano finished much better than he started, the team go going AFTER his interception and fumble when we started running the ball more. As others pointed out, Laviano's arm doesn't lend itself well to the long ball. The two turnovers would have been a decent enough reason to bring in Rettig -- or he could have started Rettig in the second half after only a weak first half.

I'm not saying Rettig would have guaranteed a win... I'm saying why wouldn't you want to see what Rettig could do against a real team? He could be the real deal, but we don't know. And judging by the way Flood handled Nova the past few years, it's likely we will never know.

That is true, unfortunately our best DL was out. Was that the difference?
That doesn't matter. It is on Flood to make sure the backups can get the job done. FB is a game of injuries. And it has also been rumored that Hamilton won't play this year and will redshirt. If that's the case we need to find a way to get push up the middle to collapse the pocket.

The defense is terrible and the verdict is out on Rossi...we can start with that before we get to the rest of the mess that needs to be cleaned up

This team is disorganized and undisciplined, that falls one guy. The same guy approves the game plan on both sides of the ball. If there were no adjustments it's because the HC, didn't want to make any. Alot of folks are saying fire Rossi but Rossi was running the type of defense Flood wanted.
