Wimsatt is obviously young but super talented. QB is the key and he is good and only getting better for the next 3 years. And Schiano is a great coach. No coincide have played you boys close the past 3 years. Good luck the rest of the way. I honestly believe are close to getting to the same level at football as your excellent hoops program. At some point during the night.. I wondered if you have a new Tom Brady in McCarthy. His accuracy under pressure is uncanny and, I expect, if he is throwing to actual NFL receivers.. he will be a nightmare. I also respect Harbaugh's assistance on 4th down TDs early in the game. No reason to respect our offense if he failed. Understandable. As was his taking the 3, or trying to.. later.
I do think that roughing call on your QB was BS... and McCarthy's flop to try to get a call soon after when our defender celebrated passing by him.. glad that wasn't flagged because it was funny to watch in slomo on replay. I'd guess the head Ump has a nice angle on that compared to how it looked on TV (it looked bad.. insane really) to not throw a flag. great acting job!
Didn't come across as patronizing at all. It's tough rebuilding a program from the depths of the talent abyss we were in relative to top programs in the B1G East and Schiano has made progress, especially with the defense, but there's still a ways to go, although Wimsatt is definitely talented and showing what he can do - but also that he needs to learn more with regard to making bad throws (having a running game would also help him), as those INTs just crushed us. Good luck the rest of the way.
After the first interception there still was a chance to win. After the second why stick with him? Ruined my evening and the motivation to all the troops on the sidelines. Who wants to play in a football laboratory where experiments out number actual competition.

Because the second wasn't his fault. I don't know who taught Cruickshank to play volleyball when a pass is thrown to him or if he came up with that one on his own, but it was one of the most horrific attempts at catching a pass I've ever seen. Alaimo would be #1 on that list.

I had the two biggest a hole Michigan fans next to me. If I went to an opposing stadium I would never talk trash about the other school. This guy was saying we don’t belong in the Big 10 and so on. I told him RUs men’s basketball, women soccer, field hockey are really good and his response was they don’t make money. I got so fed up and told him don’t come to our stadium and talk shit, he stopped. The other guy next to me was fine until the 3rd quarter. In the first half i cheered but never turned and got in his face or said anything when we did something good. I gave high fives to my buddies and were were amped up. I sit in 204 and was standing in the tunnel with my buddies near the seats and when Michigan scored on the pick six I felt taps on my shoulder. I turned around and he was pointing at me and laughing. I have a knight cushion for my seat and the a hole was sitting in it laughing at me. I went t up to him and said why did you tap me on the shoulder like that and he was saying I was acting all crazy all the first half and rubbing it in my face. Once again I cheer on Rutgers but never say anything to opposing fans or rub it in their faces. I told him to get the eff out of my seat and said he was being a complete a hole. Funny thing he looked over to me 5 minutes before and said do you mine me sitting in your seat and I said no problem, we were talking to each other during the first half. Never experienced anything like this, especially from someone around 60. Boy I wished I would have punched him in his face but the a hole would have sued me.

I had ahole Michigan fans take our seat cushions about 7 years ago. They only admitted it after I confronted them. Then they were being aholes from the start standing up in front of us for no reason and this was when is was I the upper deck. Back in those days i had matured just enough to realize I couldn’t control myself and things would probably end up going bad so after they cursed out my buddy that asked them to be cool I had security throw them out. Was a great decision
Rutgers need to get a shit ton more security in these games until we really start selling out again… You CANNOT have this of BS going on where the home team fans (families) are paying to deal with this BS. Get off your a$$ Mr. AD and get some really patrolling security that cuts this type of crap. If you want to rebuild the fanbase then protect those that actually show up.
