If Eddie is going to come back next year, I think he needs to take a hard look at things and realize that some things need to change (i.e. Tom Coughlin for the Giants when he "changed his ways"). He needs to let his assistants be more a part of things to help him out.
As mentioned in another thread, S&C needs to be upgraded badly. That would be the first step to try and make a difference. At least initially, it seems we are doing this on the football side.
In terms of the coaching staff, RU needs to look in the mirror and realize defense is not being played at an acceptable level. I tell people all the time that playing tight defense keeps you in games where you may not have as much talent (where let's be realistic, this will be the case in many games). If we could bring in some type of of "defensive coordinator" or defensive specialist to coach these guys up, that would be great. I am not sure if there is someone out there who could do something like this, but it would be worth looking into.
We also need to improve the recruiting ability of our coaching staff. Shoes seems to be doing a good job here, but not sure about the rest of the staff. We need relationships with these young kids/programs locally to try and make this work. #FencetheGarden on the basketball side too!
