I've got a 10 team parlay. Illinois will be my only loss!!!!!
BIG10 is not great this year. If we get our act together on offense we can win this league.
Illinois is a team of transfers and his having chemistry problem. Remember only one guy gets to shoot at a time and everyone wants theirs according to some on the Illini faithful.
Rivalry game and Missouri is having their Cinderella year of the decade. 11-1. See: us beating SHU 14-0 right off the bat a couple years ago. Rivalries do crazy things
Big ten kinda stinks this year. Not bad enough for Indiana to win it but still pretty bad.
For IU to win the B1G, every team will need to forfeit all league games. Lol
I did say in my preseason post on what other teams lost that Illinois had so many new players, there was a chance the roster wouldn't come together easily. That appears to be the case to this point. They could figure out, or things could spiral.
Illinois has 8 consensus top 100 players and Coleman Hawkins in their 9 man rotation. They are talented enough to beat UCLA and z Texas when things are good but lose at home by 15 to Penn St and get blown off the court by Missouri. Let's hope we get that latter version when we play them for our lone game in Illinois.
This! Their inconsistency certainly suggests that maybe the chemistry problems are true. There is a lot of talent on that team to have such uneven performances, especially given the fact that Underwood can coach.
The departure of many of the best B1G Ten players has resulted in poor performances against out of conference teams .When league competition really becomes intense in January,there will be very few teams that have less than 10 losses at the end of the season.Winning at home will be super important.
