I'm losing faith in Pikiell

Hmm…..:did you have your eyesight when we had coaches by the names of littlepage, Jordan and hill jr . ?

Decision to run the offense through Dercack and Davis shows he’s got mush for brains
i honestly think they aren’t coached on offense at all. Players are allowed to do what they want and players are playing to their weaknesses and not strengths yet they are allowed to do it over and over again . Wouldn’t mind if the new AD brought in his own coach , especially after this year. Pike has reached his ceiling . Great ambassador for the program and great guy but not the guy to take us to the next level if that’s what we truly want

With the horrendous defense I have always thought Bailey and Harper would need to score more than 40 points a game to win once the games on the road began. The lack of adjustments by the coaching staff is unacceptable especially attacking a zone defense. The complementary players are being exposed along with the disappointing performance by Bailey As fans we don't know what happens at practices. What we have seen during the first five games causes alarm on offense and defense. The lame excuses won't work with all the preseason media attention directed toward Rutgers.

This is one of the worst coached teams ive ever seen.

Pikiell is literal garbage coach who landed two elite prospects thanks to coach Knight and went into the season with nothing at the center position

These are both huge exaggerations, but Pikiell’s inability to get his teams playing decent basketball in November and December is a real issue at this point.

When does Rutgers stop being Rutgers! So many bad loses. I don’t care what conference this team is in they should win the game.

Pike has a reputation among coaches as being a defensive guru. That reputation will be put to the test this year. Either he convinces the players to play gritty defense and in doing so REBOUND, than he should be toast after this year.

Pike’s a great guy who everybody loves, including his players. Therein lies the problem with Pike.

Both Schiano and Pike right now have no accountability. No AD, no President. It will be misery for the next two years.
yeah to me Rutgers is pretty rudderless with no president and no ad and no search....to me that indicates a clown show right now at a time where the college landscape is rapidly changing and we were twiddling our thumbs

Jim Calhoun was his mentor and was considered a tough guy on his players and referees.Pikiell is a great spokesman for Rutgers University but is still a work in progress when it comes to winning on the road. The team clearly was unprepared to play in the first half. The second half the offense came out of hibernation to only lose by two points.Bottom line a bad loss and very little time to prepare for the three games in Las Vegas.

Typical Pike annual WTF game in November /December. Not surprising given his history.

We are a program built on defense, toughness and rebounding. Pike has the formula. He went away from it.
We were ( past tense) a program built on defense / toughness and rebounding.

Pike changed his philosophy this year because of Ace and Dylan as well as advice from Calhoun.

That being said, I fully expect Pike to get back to his coaching roots of defense next year and probably for all future years.
