Destroys #11 Ohio State by 12. And Indy also missed 16 free throws, could have been even more of a blowout. Also it just seems to me that the big ten front office has basically told all their officials that give the home team the calls. From watching our games and neutral games seems clear

I believe we can beat Indiana in R house. Their shooting woes especially on the road this season is a clear indication.

Rutgers has a small margin for error because nobody knows game to game where the points are coming from.At home the crowd keeps the team in the game until the team makes a scoring spurt to take the lead.On the road there is no crowd support and teams must have shooters to overcome that disadvantage.Defeating Indiana and Minnesota at home are vital to regain momentum for post season play .

we need to win as many rac games as possible...can we survive at split...well yeah but these are two programs that if we play at the level of our first two home Big 10 games we should be able to beat

but you make a good point, RU is a bit unpredictable with production. Need to work on consistency going forward.

.Penn State choking big time as they are sleep walking to a likely loss to Wisconsin.Score Wisconsin 54-45.with 3 minutes remaining.

IU is hard to figure — some big wins, but they also got smoked by Wisconsin who we beat wire-to-wire. Should be a great game. (Wisconsin also beat OSU, so the Buckeye’s stock in trending downward).

I understand the point you are making that we don’t have a single all conference type player on offense who can take over a game, but I’d argue that the fact we have so much balance and that opposing teams don’t know who a play might be designed for or who might make a play in a pivotal situation is also an advantage.

Balance scoring clearly was missing today and without the go to scorer its difficult to win scoring only 51 points.

Indiana fan here. We are a hard team to figure out. When we play hard and committed for 40 minutes, our defense and rebounding is really good and we can beat good teams. Offensively, we aren’t a great shooting team, but we were 6-12 from 3 yesterday. They’re better when they don’t try to shoot too many 3s. We have 3 or 4 pretty good post players and we have a few guards that can get to the rack. Our PG Rob Phinisee was the most healthy he has been all season yesterday, and he played really well and really sparked our offense.

It should be a good game Wednesday night. I have a lot of respect for what Rutgers has been putting together. Pikiell is a real good coach.

This league is parity crazy. Everyone beating everyone. Far too early to determine who might go dancing. After failing at Champaign we need to take care of Hoosiers at home. No more gimmies left.

Yes. And you articulate the glass half full point of view.
