If your going to mention Paul’s absence from the Temple game, how do you not note Caleb’s absence too when one single player in the game (Battle) went off for a monster game? Yes - I get the whole “injuries are part of the game” narrative. That said, there’s only one team that has scored 70+ points on RU to date. Guess which one? Temple - yes TEMPLE. For sure not. But he didn’t bring that game up. In bringing up Temple, he’s almost doing us a media disservice because as a committee member who doesn’t know better, you’d assume we were only missing Paul. It was our entire starting backcourt and best defensive player out for that game.
