Football INSTANT RECAP: Wisconsin rolls past Rutgers Football 42-7

Wait wut? What does Schiano have to do with Ash or Gleeson?

Mildone can tell Shelby has a bad case of Schiano Pyschosis. You gonna blame him for inflation next?
To the bootlickers, a lot. Blaming everyone else but 2.0 for the program’s struggles and failures. Surprised you missed the point.

It’s always been someone else’s fault instead of the guy who’s stealing salary through at least 2030 and can’t coach a lick.

Our receivers are slow and can’t catch and our QBs can’t throw. Why on earth would the good ones come here just to watch 20 dive plays a game and be decoys ?

McNulty was the offensive coordinator for Mike teel correct? I see he's at Alabama now as an analyst...maybe bring him back? Or is he not liked here? That offense was pretty good .
He's already been here twice. The 2006 offense should have been dominant with the talent on the OL and at the skill positions. The 2007 offense should have been dominant with a 2,000 yard rusher, 2 1,000 yard receivers, and a 3,000 yard passer. That team lost 5 games and came up small a lot. His second stint was an abomination.

Or fan issue. Had a great run game last year but everyone wanted to throw it. Now we can’t run or throw it.
We have the same issue as last year. As soon as the run game is established and working the brain trust moves away from it. Stick with what got you there. Force the other team to bend to your will versus out thinking yourself and bending to their will. Did Nebraska get away from their game plan last week when we stopped them a couple of times? Did Wisconsin waiver today? The answer is no. But Kirk out thinks himself every week. Run the ball to open up the pass. Rather than forcing the pass.

It absolutely is about the OC. He may not be whole story, but RU isn’t booting a HC off a season of progress and a 4-2 start (especially GS), albeit a shitty 2 weeks. The OC will always be the first under the microscope if an offense underperforms in a program with expectations. KC calls the plays and is paid handsomely to do so. Hes not absolved of responsibility, regardless of your feelings on GS.

And as for your mention of Ash, GS is the reason we’re not numb to days like today anymore.
Wrong. The OC calls plays but the HC dictates philosophy. The microscope should be pointed at the HC who authors the playbook, limited and predictable as it is.

But yeah, GS and his 1946 offense aren’t going anywhere. He’s owed too much for too long. Instead, he’ll fire a few more scapegoat coordinators in the next couple of years and half this board will still blame Ash.

Last year, I feel good about being in 3rd and 3 or shorter. This year, I don’t feel good when it’s 3rd and 1.
Agree because this year Kirk is more likely to overthink it and try to throw versus punch the other team in the mouth. But everything we’re seeing this year was apparent last year just not as obvious to the average fan.

Look at the 3 plays coming out of our end zone today. Slow developing low probability plays. That situation called for big on big smash mouth football to get space. He did the exact opposite. All 3 plays run to boundary based off a false RPO slow mesh.
