Interesting article on how Miller at Dayton dealt with 6 scholorship players and no height

He didn't play against Diamond Stone. I get your point though. We probably could play better

I don't just mean last night. I think Maryland is the best school in the conference and a legit national title contender.

Going forward the level of competition will be somewhat easier. The bottom of this league is not strong...Minnesota, Nebraska....the next level slightly better like Penn State and Illinois but still not all that good. I will be interested to see the strategy that Jordan has. You cant just throw your hands up in the air and say oh well. I was disturbed by the quick fouling last night. You have to have court awareness, it wasn't going to matter last night but it will matter in games against Nebraska and Minnesota.

There are more examples of overcoming handicaps that RU fan can be informed about and I'm sure I be reading posts about them before this season is over.

The issue we have is 2 of the 7 are really just spot up shooters. You really can't take advantage of being small on the offensive end because 2 of the small guys aren't beating you off the dribble. They can be defended by slow 7 footers.

Now it's getting funny.....BAC is searching the internet for stories so that he can start more negative threads.

Hey, I bet you can find one from 5 years ago about how a coach in the WAC dealt with a depleted roster as well. Go get it !!

you are so pathetic you shouldn't even warrant a response

you are so hellbent on your agenda that you don't even realize that this thread actually is not negative at all..it actually responds to your stupid thread about why aren't people posting threads on how to make Rutgers basketball better

well here is your thread..here is your thread on some tips on how this team could be be better with such a thin roster or lack of height

you are the one making the thread negative not me

no, this is SPOT ON. It is what folks are talking about and what they are looking for. What I called "creative adaptability" in that other thread. Maybe Eddie is doing some of it? Maybe he should talk more about it then. Maybe we could SEE more of it on the floor.

I give him credit for his switch to the zone here and there. I think that has helped. Maybe we do have too many block-heads on the team to "get it". Maybe just too many "me first" players to get it.
But that's his job to deal with it.

This is coaching. That is a lot of what he is paid to do. Plan, adjust, and make the calls. Let me clearly see his fingerprints on the plan & the play and I'll shut up.

Maybe your intentions were good, but, I have my concerns based on your history. If your intentions are good, I applaud you for changing your tune.

What's more annoying than "negative threads"? People who repetitively post negative comments about people they feel are posting negative comments. Give it a rest. Looks to me like he was trying to follow your new guidelines by trying to find ways to improve the team.
