A) Most think Fitz is being railroaded
B) In general, the motives of Richardson ( initial whistleblower) we're not proper - and he had been " recruiting others" to go along with his most exaggerated details
C) The President and Board of Trustees are spineless -and along with the AD ( a diversity hire), should all be at risk of losing their jobs
D) Stadium expansion was getting lots of pushback - this should pause it
E) Jim Phillips - now Commissioner of the ACC, was the AD from 2008 -2021. The allegations go back to 2000 if not before.
PHILLIPS SHOULD HAVE KNOWN AS WELL
F) who will want a job at this clown show with a gutless President and board around them.Ex Stanford coach would be a home run hire in addition to Mike Kafka (former NW QB and OC for NY Giants)...Some fans would even be happy with Seth Meyers or Mike Greenberg
G) Fitz has had a few NFL opportunities and perhaps multiple other college offers. At a minimum, IF he was aware of this overhang going back 20 years and how it could easily expose him, he is certainly smart enough to go the Pete Carroll/Urban Meyer route.
My personal take - this is reminding me too much of the Permetti situation. Have a pissed off ex player ( coach) looking for revenge and smartly extorting the school. Admins try a quick meaningless punishment but media gets involved and 48 hours later, a good man ( Fitz or Tim) who bleed the school colors is done
