Kids are off and we’ll be in Disney World tomorrow. I saw there is an ESPN bar there. Any better suggestions?

With the way the last two games have gone, the Tower of Terror would be a good place to watch the final few minutes. You won't even have to go on the ride to feel the effects of it.
I like your sense of humor which is needed being a Rutgers fan for many years.

Personally, I'd just focus on the vacation/family and catch the score later. But if you really want to see it, have you considered getting the Fox Sports Go app on your phone and watching it that way, at least for the end of the game if it is close?

ESPN club, I think it is on the Boardwalk outside of Epcot. Probably have to request the game.

Where in Disney are you going to be tomorrow at 6 pm? If you are in a theme park, you don't have a lot of options other than to leave the park and go to a bar in a nearby hotel.

Most bars in the parks don't have TVs (the exception might be the bar at the UK pavilion in Epcot, but if you're there, you might as well just walk to the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk.

And even at most of the hotel bars, there aren't a lot of TVs, so they might not show the Rutgers game. In the Magic Kingdom area your best bet might be the outdoor bar at Wilderness Lodge. At the Epcot and Hollywood Studios area just go to the ESPN Club (which is your best bet anywhere). I think there is a sports bar at Disney Springs. Or you could check the TV in your room to see if it gets FS1 and just watch the game there.

Or go to Fox Sports to Go and watch it on your phone/laptop https://www.foxsportsgo.com/program/532902/college-basketball-iowa-at-rutgers

Thanks all. Actually the kids very much want to leave a park to catch the game. Pike’s got ‘em hooked!

Poor kids don’t know the lifetime of agony they are about to experience.
Just go to the Hooters that's over by that small shopping center. Then after the game you can drive down the road 30 seconds and play putt putt golf.

This really isn't that hard.

As others noted ESPN Zone is not IN a park... but park boats can get you there. If youa re staying outside the parks.. you can go ANYWHERE. So maybe lookup sports bars in the area.

Somoene mentioned using a tablet or laptop or phone with the Fox Sports Go app. You will need your cableco username and password and also create a login for fox sports go... or use a facebook acct. I just tested this app and it wanted to bring up the cableco authentication screen in a browser (chrome on my android) and it got stuck 3 times before connecting. But i soon saw live broadcast of FS1.

There are charging stations in certain places in DisneyWorld. In the kiddie land (Fantasy Land) in Magic Kingdom.. there is a tent-like pavilion with lounge chairs and the like.. just a place to rest or eat something. I found convenient charging stations there where you might plug in and watch the game. I'm sure you can find other places. But this was covered, darkish (good for seeing screen) and had ample seating and places to plug in.

Hell.. like that you can get on line in Animal Kingdom for Flight of Passage and maybe catch the whole game before riding... free wifi throughout the parks.

found this link for you its the 5 best places to watch college football at WDW

Watched the Rutgers-seton Hall game on the Fox app 2 years ago while in the magic kingdom

Totally can be done

True story. I was down there long ago when Schiano was coaching his first year

I missed our West Virginia fb road game and turned on the hotel tv
To see if I could catch all the final scores before going back out

Anyway, the sports announcer said we will be back in a minute with the scores, including one where a team scored 80 today

I sat on the bed and thought, gee I hope that was not done to us, ah, what are the chances of that?

So I sat there waiting and worrying

Well,? we all know how that turned out, I found out after the commercials it was us.
WVU 80. RU 7

Never forgot that

Ehh.. Schiano did not care about Ws and Ls and scores early in his tenure.. he was just training his D to play his way. But in reading your story it clearly had a cost. In the long run, his losses to BuffaNova and blowouts.. they served a purpose... maybe.

He may not have cared about scores as you say, but this early on score was news worthy

News worthy enough to mention before they went to commercial as a lead in
