The answer is no for this season but yes as a program.
Because we have eyes and ears and a brain. Why so (program)?
But RU is 2-7 in the last 9 games vs SHU.Because we have eyes and ears and a brain.
And anyone can tell that 50 mil a year from the big ten is better at sustaining sports programs than the whopping half dollar SHU receives from the big east.
You wanna know the program is better? Go look at their Harper thread where their fans lament the fact that their program isn't doing as well as ours. They literally say their program is in worse shape.
I enjoyed the rivalry but seton hall will eventually die off completely. They'll never make what they need to compete consistently from NIL to compete with the power 2 and they'll never get into a real conference without a football team.
Ok repeat that as if I give a shit and as if past head to head records in this one particular rivalry have any bearing whatsoever for the future health of each programBut RU is 2-7 in the last 9 games bs SHU.
Pike has to start winning in this series, right?
It certainly remains to be seen.Ok repeat that as if I give a shit and as if past head to head records in this one particular rivalry have any bearing whatsoever for the future health of each program
It really doesn't remain to be seen. Small conferences are dying. Shu is in a dying conference and has zero donor support. It certainly remains to be seen.
RU has been in the Big Ten long enough to start showing results vs SHU.
Seton Hall troll?Why so (program)?
If you can’t answer it , it’s not clear cut.Seton Hall troll?
Coming on a little strong with this one bruhIf you can’t answer it , it’s not clear cut.
At the moment , it’s a toss up on which program is better right now

Thanks for the thought out reply. 👍Yes it is. Better program, but they have a better team than us. With the exception of Izzo, everyone in the Big Ten misses the tourney from time to time….because none of the programs are one and done destinations like Duke, KU and Kentucky. When you have to develop players, there will be ups and downs. We’re in a down year with a bunch of new guys.
We will get better. This team will be better in Feb and March than they are now - how much better is an open question.
I sure as heck hope we’re better in February and March. Otherwise a long season becomes a sad one.Yes it is. Better program, but they have a better team than us. How many 5 stars did SHU sign this year?If you can’t answer it , it’s not clear cut.

Not in basketball . Last years final four had teams from the ACC, BIG East , mountain west and I don’t even know what conference Florida Atlantic is inThe Hall owns us. No debate until we prove otherwise this year and going forward

You are a Seton Hall Troll.
There I answered it.
We have the better program and structure for the future. You may win a game.
This is a worthless thread
How many 5 stars did SHU sign this year?
Last season both teams scored less than 50 points. If we don't snap out of it they're gonna run us out of the gym.
Not sure who is better but Seton Hall’s guards concern me due to their size. Richmond is 6’6 and Wusu is very stocky. Simpson and fernandes aren’t big enough to guard them
The Essex County J.C. Troll.
We didn’t suck at reminding.Last season both teams scored less than 50 points.
Toss up but like always, Rutgers ceiling is higher.
Coaching - even
Alumni Support - SHU
Facilities - RU
Administrative Support - RU
Historical Success - SHU
Head to Head - SHU
Current Talent - SHU
Future Talent - RU
Sure there are a few other things to include
I know. Just messing with you.....No need to get unhinged.
You’re usually better than this.
You haven’t even given any reasons how you came to your conclusion.
RU def has a major advantage with NIL.
Attendance is basically the same in recent seasons but The RAC gives a better home court advantage.
Here are other ways to compare two programs.
NCAA Tourney appearances the last 10 years ?
Head to head the last 10 years?
Coaching? Is there a huge advantage when comparing Pike vs Sha?
RU clearly has the much better recruiting class on paper.
Saturday night is a must win for both teams for this season.
I’ll assume you’ll be in attendance?
