is this our new West Virginia

By the way I happened to read today the state with the highest rate
of heroin addiction is West Virginia, far ahead of the second highest state.

We've actually beaten West Virginia more than just once; it's just that it all happened so long ago that it's kind of lost relevance.
Correct. 4-33 with 2 ties. Lost the last 17 straight. Don't see us playing again for a long time.

UM is waaaaaaaaaaay to smart a school to be compared to the drunk couch burners!

No, we've already beaten Michigan.
Sure, we beat them once... I think the OP is saying.... is Michigan and OSU going to be constant (i.e., above 90%) losses for us year after year?

If so, that seems to kind of limit our ceiling....

As somebody that sat through the 80-7 beat down in Morgantown there are some differences. That WVU team was good, but nothing like Top 5 good. Also they did not go for two or anything like that. They had the third string in and still ran over us.

I'd say the Michigan series might parallel Princeton. Michigan is the 2nd-oldest FBS program. Rutgers won the 1st meeting, but then the other team dominated for many years, including some massive shutouts. (But will Rutgers take 50 years to beat Michigan again?)

What's West Virginia's record against Michigan?
UM leads series 1-0. Only time they played 1904. But the way Rich Rod left for UM makes me dislike them too. Even though it wasn't UM fault per say. Much higher profile job and I never fault a person for bettering himself.

That 80-7 WVU team finished the season 3-8. That was a case where Rutgers got nothing right that day and everything snow balled. I think we scored a TD every way imaginable.

OSU the new Pitt? One sided.
Michigan State the new BC? One sided
Maryland the new Syracuse? Only b/c you had late BE success v Orange
Indiana the new Temple? Fighting for basement every year.
