There is no need to keep super analyzing. Pike's coaching and his staff are solid. The kids play hard . Save for sanders and a couple others that have their moments, we just don't have the horses to compete at this level just yet. Lots of these guys stink and you see that on the offensive end, while on defense they are coached up and play hard . We need to recruit a couple solid big caliber players and if sanders sticks around we are dancing with sanders, co. In 2 years.

I doubt your prediction of a NCAA bid in 2 years will happen.Next year will be basically the same squad and two years from now most of the main contributors will be gone and the team will be primarily new recruits of which nobody knows what their talent level will be.

If Sanders stays for next season, I'd be surprised. Filling his shoes will be difficult..

Sanders should stay at least one more year. I am sure he's not a scholar but another year of college hoops will help him.

I know hard it is to be positive after a tough loss, but geez. Pikiell has this team playing defense at a championship level. I have not seen a Rutgers defense this good since like forever. Not Rice, not Waters, not Bannon, and not even Young.
Next year the same squad? You say that like its a negative. Remember this group of players has never played together for the most part. Offense is skill for sure. But also cohesion, passing, timing are vital. As Wisconsin's senior-laden team just showed us.

I get what you're saying, but the is a HUGE talent gap in positions 3-5 compared to other B1G teams. We need front court talent.

Where is Sanders going? He is not an nba player at this point. Yes has athletic ability but not nba shooter or ball handler
