The rules in our spring game are if a defender touches the QB, even with one finger, it counts as a sack. Touching a 6' 4'" - 234 lb. Christian Hackenburg, who's built like a linebacker, vs. tackling him is quite a contrast. However I will acknowledge your point that our OL is a work in progress. Last years line would grade out at about a D- This years line probably will finish at C-
"The rules in our spring game are if a defender

Could be that rule is in effect because Hackenburg despite being built like a linebacker, goes down easily [laughing]
( just having some fun) [winking]
Both O-lines need to prove themselves after last year's game.
Neither OL stood out on running plays and both didn't protect the QB
Hack was sacked 5 times and Nova 3.
Rutgers passing game fared much worse because of the 5 INTs Nova threw.
We can try to knock the other team's D, but both stood out last year at High Point and feel both will stand out at Beaver.
It's whose offense will stand out ( more) on 9/19 that will be the key to winning.
I look for RU to try to run the ball down the Nit's throats , while PSU tries to destroy RU with its passing game.
Both strategies need the OL to do their job to be successful and RU needs its QB to make the Nit D worry about the pass, in order to keep them from keying on the run.
