Not so sure about that. It's been discussed. Flood is a moron basically. Half of Penn State's team is Jersey guys. If Schiano stayed, that would be our team.
Not really. You really think he did not want higher rated recruits? C'mon. The guy was bad at recruiting but your statement is silly. He tried, did well with verbals and then they all bailed when the ridiculous losses and other issues started. It's that simple.Because Flood wanted to go 1-0 by getting guys no one ever heard of and let everyone from NJ go away
Well for a coach who cheated on the regular, you would think he would know how to get recruits to come. I mean he basically assured them that they would not get kicked off for smoking weed and failing classes. Not really. You really think he did not want higher rated recruits? C'mon. This is true for ND too.Historically, NJ players with offers from Rutgers and Sandusky State, sadly, pick Sandusky State. It hurts. Does not matter that Flood overlooked Cabinda.
Your post is just full of silliness. Doubt he would sell the drug test aspect.Well for a coach who cheated on the regular, you would think he would know how to get recruits to come. I mean he basically assured them that they would not get kicked off for smoking weed and failing classes.
Thank youCabinda wasn't deemed to have enough lateral quickness early on, then his senior season he improved and Penn St got in first, and RU never recovered . Staff completely blew it with Cabinda's junior year evaluation.
He was a Cuse commit. He did not show any interest to RU even when he was a Cuse commit. Some kids just want to get away. In addition, he really has developed a whole lot in terms of size and ability since his Jr year in HS. He single handedly beat Manalapan in our house his Sr year for the title but he was already a PSU commit and at that time. We had Blacknall who did not do much in that game and I remember thinking we got the wrong kid. We ended up losing Blacknall and they both are doing pretty well now.Cabinda wasn't deemed to have enough lateral quickness early on, then his senior season he improved and Penn St got in first, and RU never recovered .
