Other than being bald, one subtext I got from Niemann talking is that he doesn't think of himself as old at all. He also may have a chip on his shoulder about not having gotten a lot of respect despite running the D of some quality NIU teams. The guy was the DC in the Orange Bowl....which is more than even Schiano can say (since 2000).
