Our tackling overall is very good. Our coverage over the middle is suspect. It may be our schemes but whatever it is we need to improve on it. We actually did make adjustments in game and played solid D in second half.

Yup. They try to hit the runner instead of wrapping him up. What's worse is that they don't have the art of slowing down a runner so others can get there, instead trying to go for the flashy hit.

Not sure if it was JWC, but on one play, the RU defensive player threw the MSU running back forward for an additional 2 yard gain.

JWC is playing out of position. It’s his 1st year at LB. We all knew we were thin at LB because of injuries.

As somebody mentioned, he is playing out of position, but I thought he played LB in high school. Not going to dunk on the kid, but hopefully the coaches work on tackling if he is going to stay at LB.

JWC is playing out of position. It’s his 1st year at LB. We all knew we were thin at LB because of injuries.

Hopefully next season Moses Walker returns from his injury and redshirt freshman Anthony Johnson will be ready to step in. With Jennings and Powell returning next year the LB corps will be solid if healthy.

I think with 2020 being a “free year” Jennings can play in 2023 if he wants.
