Damaso Munoz (RU letters 2006-09) was a linebacker from 2011-13 with the CFL Edmonton Eskimos before he signed with the NFL Tampa Bay Bucs in 2014 but never played. Since 2014, he joined the CFL Ottawa Redblacks. On November 27, 2016, Ottawa defeated the Calgary Stampeders 39-33 at BMO Field in Toronto in the 104th Grey Cup.

I believe the top half represents the original trophy of the Grey Cup. Munoz is not the first Rutgers player to play on a CFL Grey Cup Champion. Can you guess the earliest known player in Rutgers football history to play on a Grey Cup winner? He passed away 10 years ago this fall.
