Interesting. The one guy we brought in for multiple years is the first gone.
Best of luck to him. Hopefully we can get all the announcements done quickly and focus on roster building.
Promising. One way or the other if you want to improve guard and wing play you need to vacate guard and wing minutes.
His family was vocally unhappy about his playing time at home games late in the season, obviously doesn't bode well for his brother but I had that feeling already.
Green was right on the money on him. Brought here to play D. Zone experience couldn’t transfer to man scheme. My boys can relate, unfortunately. Ha ha. Much easier to learn zone. Important for man to be taught early in life. There is a steep learning curve.
A10 seems a better fit for him. Nothing wrong playing college hoops and getting a good education at somewhere like GW.

So if everyone sucks and our record sucks we can retain. But if players do well we lose any good performers and being worse the next year is assured?
But again nobody on here wants to acknowledge that the program is a mess and in trouble they just want to come up with fake solutions to get us through the offseason

We can’t afford to keep the good ones why isn’t anyone understanding that it’s being spelled out everywhere
And we don’t have a coach with enough of an eye for talent in the Portal or enough of a killer instinct dog mentality to do anything about it
I'll always remember that MSG game and I'm serious. My brother and I were cracking jokes after Dylan was dropped from the starting lineup like "It's OK, Derkack will go for 25," etc. And then he did!!!
I only mean to reiterate with my questions, looking for confirmation. I appreciate and agree with your analysis. NIL is not only the death of Cinderella, the low and mid majors. It’s also the death of the lower power conf teams.
I have no real problem with it, he's just the one I was pretty sure was staying

6th most minutes played and one of the worst shooters on the team and unable to play man defense. Yet his family wanted more playing time. Delusional. This is really the only transfer I was hoping for since it’s clear addition by subtraction.
This is ok---Dylan Dortch Ogbole and Jmike would be my preference to stay
6th most in minutes played is crazy. He sucked. Brought in for defense and couldn’t guard anyone and he never passed the ball on offense. He should have been glued to the bench.
JMike is critical now. He gets a lot of shit on here, but I like his tenacity and think he’ll be a valuable 1 and upperclassmen leader.
JMike really improved this season and became a pretty good shooter in big spots. I hope he stays.
JMike is needs to move down a level! Great energy and tenacity but not a power 4 player.
I think he became selective and didn’t force it. If he gets 4-5 quality shots a game and sinks 4 of them, that’s really good. I thought he did a nice job bringing the ball up the court against USC.
He defends well and has decent handles. As we learned this season, continuity matters. He’ll be 3 years in the system and you need a leader on the court.

Absolutely agree but not an undersized guard who can not shoot , create shots for others, and gets bullied on Defense. Love him but he is not a power 4 player
Surprised by this one. Would be thrilled if I thought Pike could do better.
JMike is a rising junior. Was definitely overwhelmed last year but he settled in decently as this season progressed and had far more good games than bad ones. He also broke his habit of going straight at 7 footers in the paint.
