CBS Sports talking about RUs failures

Shhhh don't tell them. They'll say oh that 3 plus million doesn't count

Nobody has ever said that. Some of you people love making $hit up, don’t you?

What they have said is that a large majority of Ace/Dylans money came from corporate sponsors and was specifically earmarked for them.

And there wasn’t a whole lot of NIL to fill the rest of the roster.

It takes way more than two 18 years olds to compete in college basketball these days, regardless of what their draft projections are.

Ace was the defacto center this year. And that's why the team wasn't good ....At the very least a veteran center should have been brought in to rebound and block shots. Hard to believe the staff did this...Im still shocked

Few things........

1. The run that brought us back in to the game came when Harper was on the bench
2. Harper got absolutely toasted off the dribble in the 2nd to last possession of the game and shot an air ball in the last possession.

I don't want to hear it Harper had nothing to do with the loss. He was getting beat all day defensively. Defense and offense are equally important.
And don’t forget his man was wide open when Michigan beat us

This is pretty telling:

But Steve Pikiell's 2024 portal haul will go down as the worst of any high-major team. There are 79 high-major teams in college basketball now that Oregon State and Washington State have been forced to ship off to the West Coast Conference. Marquette is the only one that didn't take a transfer in the 2024 portal cycle. Seventy-seven other programs had at least one transfer average more than seven points per game.
Rutgers is the lone outlier.
Facts sometimes get posters in trouble around here

This is the EXACT truth regardless of other times it’s asked or suggested otherwise.

Pike whiffed on his 21, 22 and 23 recruiting classes as well as the 24 transfer portal.

Let's just say its the bottom of the 8th for Pike on the class of 25 transfer portal.

He needs at least 2 if not 3 hits
