Think any of the majors would go after the Drake coach?

Seems to win wherever he goes but tad unconventional?
 
Have to believe that if you can win at Radford, you’re a pretty good coach.
 
I don't see Cronin going to Villanova , but if he wants out of LA and the west coast
Iowa might be a good fit along with Indiana
 
Ohio state has deep pockets and winning is THE priority

If he doesn’t make a run next year he’s out similar to how Indiana operates
oh i agree with that but he isnt going anywhere next year...it was a stupid hire by them and they could have made a play for dusty may before he got to Michigan if their AD was proactive.
 
Jake Diebler, the Ohio State men's basketball head coach, signed a five-year contract with an annual base salary of $2.5 million, running from March 18, 2024, through April 30, 2029.

  • Contract Length: Five years.

  • Start Date: March 18, 2024.

  • End Date: April 30, 2029.

  • Base Salary: $2.5 million per year.

  • Incentives:
    • Big Ten or National Coach of the Year: $50,000.

    • Sweet 16: $50,000.

    • Elite Eight: $75,000.

    • Final Four: $100,000.

    • National Championship: $250,000.

    • Cumulative team GPA: $50,000 for 3.0-3.4 and $100,000 for 3.5 or higher.
  • Buyout:
    • If Ohio State terminates without cause: Diebler would receive 65% of his salary for the remaining contract term.

    • If Diebler terminates:
      • $5 million if he leaves before April 1, 2025.

      • $3 million if he leaves between April 1, 2025, and April 1, 2026.

      • $1 million if he leaves between April 1, 2026, and April 1, 2028.

      • No buyout after April 1, 2028.
