I know al lot of people don’t like hearing about players who have transferred out but Junior is having a hell of season at Tulsa. He’s also shooting 42% from 3. I think he has a shot at getting drafted.

I always thought he had a lot of potetntial but always looked like he was sulking to me. He seemed to play passively but looks like a different player now. Maybe he needed a change of scenery and coach but I would someday love to know what the deal was with him. We certainly could have used this version of him.

Lol

Eddie jordan barely made etou a focal point of the offense when he was a very good player. He also bever passed rhe ball back out once he got it.

Sounds like his coaches are getting the most out of his abilities and successfully dealing with any perceived personality, character, and effort shortcomings.

Etou was clearly a talented player. Always made me laugh when people tried to debate that and at the same time maintain some level of credibility

It is 3 years since he played at RU. There were games he looked like he didn't even try. He rebounded well but stayed on the outside shooting too many threes. Good luck to him but he wanted out. I really don't ever remember him driving to the basket. It is true too many plays were run for Kadeem. Etou should have had a few run for him.I suppose that bothered him.

Ironically I watched East Carolina at Tulsa. He had 20 points but it took him 18 shots to get those 20 points. But man, was that kid a beast on the glass. I know he didn't but it seems like he got every offensive rebound for Tulsa that game.

I never saw Etou play for Rutgers but Tulsa does a very good job of getting him in spots where he can exploit the defense.

He can play, by things need to be catered around him.

I remember many posts about his demeanor both on and off the court that affected both the team & the coach. Maybe he is happier where he is but he was clearly unhappy here.

I don't care what Etou does. He is older than most seniors and he just shot 1 of 10 on threes in his last game. His three % has dropped drastically. It is now closer to 33 %.
