Just got back and heading out for the evening, but had to at least post something. What an incredible effort by everyone involved. Down 2 important players we simply wouldn't give up, even when it looked like the #3 team in the country might run away (30-15 especially). Corey was unbelievable and Freeman and Geo were great, while everyone else contributed.
Just not quite enough to overcome 27 FT attempts by the other team to our 12 or so - sure, about 8 of them were late when we were fouling, but this is one game I have to say where we just didn't seem to get an evenly called game (and I rarely say that). Anyway, amazing job by the coaches, too, getting this team ready after the recent bad games and with the injuries - you watch a game like this and you just know we have the right coach. Hope Shaq is ok.
