Just got 5 tickets and taking the kids and friends to see the PSU game. Still good seats left at reasonable price. Great activity for New Year's Day.

I've brought my kids to a couple of other games last few years that were real duds. I'm hoping we can get the RAC magic back and get them hooked. Let's sell it out.

Purchased 4 tickets as well for this game. Long time season ticket holder for football, first basketball game in a long time, perhaps since NIT final against Michigan at MSG under Waters. Quick question, is there game day parking near the RAC?

Yes. Pay $10 for the RAC lots or park elsewhere on Livingston for free and walk 5-10 minutes.

while I think it will be okay to park elsewhere while school is not in session, I was in complete shock that a warning ticket was given out for parking in the Library after a Saturday night game a few weeks ago. Never have I seen them give out tickets during the weekend so the money grab is apparently strong at RU currently

Wow. I've used the lot by the Towers a few times this year without a problem. Guess my luck might be about to run out.

I used it a few times with no issue, I think one game was two days before Thanksgiving and a couple of other day games..actually one time the lot was full on a Sunday somehow.

I know that you cant park during school at night anymore because you will get tix because I did last year. The warning ticket for parking there while school is out on a Sunday is pretty ridiculous, I never have seen them canvess half empty lots on a weekend. There is another lot way further down by the Livingston Gym that is about 10-12 minutes from the RAC that I have used on weeknights

I assume that Jan 1 they will not be giving tix out but who knows with this school

Just checked sk.com (you can purchase "by seat," so you can actually see what seats are available. From a quick perusal, it looks like the 200 level is ALMOST sold out, but there are still plenty of seats left in the 300 level. Assuming the student section is full (from either students or the ticket promotion to the general public), I would estimate that there are 6,000 sold so far, with several more days to go.

Can't we just close off the 300 level and call it a sell out?

yes $10 for parking is alot for a product that hasnt had a winning season for 10 years. I have been a season ticket holder for 22 years and I do not pay for parking and have generally watched an awful product during that time...shoot me or call me cheap if that bothers people because I do not care. For those of us who have season tix, the parking price adds up, if you go a few times a year its not a big deal and if you have been going for years watching a powder puff home schedule and then usually beatdowns by top program with the exception of maybe 5 years in 22 then well you can say anything you want

in the meantime there has only been the same 1800 fans that have been going to games over the last 20 years so its not these fans that are cheap its everyone else who just climbs on and off the bandwagon over this time period

oh and my other option is to just get a ride with other people I know who are going....so are we going to require that everyone who has a ticket goes alone

Anyone having issues w/ buying tickets at scarletknights.com? cannot get my payment to go through.......

I fully realize how bad we have been, however, free parking just isn't going to happen. It's $10. Not $30. Anyhow, do whatcha gotta do, I guess.

I am part of the 1800 senior ticket holders who have endured decades of futility with no reward for loyalty.

Me too but I believe there is finally hope!! I can't believe people are squawking about paying $10 for parking

Here's the thing, how do you define loyalty? You may be loyal in one way and I may be in another. In other words, you get rewarded and others are going to want the same.

Have had season tickets since Wenzels first year but pretty much went to every game during the Littlepaige years too. Started going to games the first year the RAC opened, haven't missed many.

We have parking pass for the Green Lot.

Free parking is unrealistic, but if someone can find free parking and don't mind the walk, more power to them.

Damn, did ya have to mention Littlepaige? Now that WAS the darkest/lowest period of RU Hoops. Now I gotta go watch a recording of the RU A10 championship against psu to get Littlepaige out of my head. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

A big loud crowd could enable this team to pull out a Big win for us!! PSU is talented but young so the crowd could rattle them!!
