Just sayin..so great to be have a positive team and message board again.

Yes! Much more fun debating game strategy than how best to pull a program out of the abyss.

I think we're still a year or two away from feeling this way much past Jan. 1, but it sure is nice while we have it.

There is something to look forward to each game... It also changes the dynamics on recruiting, we can almost assume that the one spot still open, plus Gettys current spot as a 5th year person gives RU at a minimum 2 chances to backfill some of the gaps on the roster. I would assume attrition takes place just like every other program has around this time of the year so an opportunity to improve the roster by looking at incoming transfers are also an option as well.

Who knows what the entire season will end up looking like. We will certainly be playing some programs that will be light years ahead of RU, but to have already tied the total wins for last season is great. Keeping in mind that we are something of a patch work quilt, let's just hope that they can keep their enthusiasm up when things are going badly. If they can ever get a full game together, things could get interesting.

I dont expect miracles. We are a team with a 1st year coach who hasnt even gotten his own recruits yet and is still having success. He is doing the best he can with what he has!

Of course there will be losses......but I dont think THIS team will give up and this years coach will be accountable......I already see he coaches on game day and develops players
its absolutely REFRESHING!!!

I'm hoping the board stays positive once the conference games start. It's nice to have the upbeat feelings on this board after the tough football season.
