What's the board's thoughts on if we got the W. Michigan HC as the next RU HC? Young guy who would step up, at least in conference, in taking a B1G/P5 head coaching job. Perhaps coming a successful long term face of the program.

I know he just got a contract extension, but have no idea what he makes or any other considerations, our current coach situation aside, that might make this a non-option.

are you joking or maybe trolling? if so, it's pretty stupid. if not...

the WMU coach is pj fleck. he was here for 2 years as our WR coach under schiano, he has been discussed already. a lot.

would be an upgrade over flood. would maybe not even take the job given the circumstances, and maybe commands more than we would pay if they have another good year. or maybe admin wants a clean break from the schiano/flood coaching tree.

What's with the attitude? I was neither joking or trolling...not sure why would say that. I thought he had been here under some capacity, but couldn't remember. Was it that outrageous an idea or thought?

no attitude, and it's not an outrageous idea. i asked because it has been discussed here at length. there are any number of threads discussing coaching candidates, and fleck is an oft-mentioned name.
