When Mulchahey introduced Schiano on December 1st, 2000, he said Greg would start right away because he though it was important to not lose a recruiting season.

When Hobbs introduced Ash, he said he thought that Ash's insistence on finishing the season spoke to his character and that we will get good PR from him being on TV for OSU.

Whatever happens this recruiting season happens. Is it ideal that every other staff is hiring assistants and moving on recruits? No. I just wish Ash would hire at least one coach so that person could be going on his behalf.

But I like the hire a real lot even if this start is excruciating slow in a very, very fast moving and dynamic time for recruiting.

We have no idea if his start is slow or not.

Guys, be realistic. The guy not only is recruiting. He is glad handing people at the university. Moving into a new office and calling and interviewing coaches. This is going to be an okay class but don't expect miracles. 2017 recruits will be better and by 2018 you should doing great. Good hire for you guys.
