Kenpom & Segarin

It might not mean much but after last night's win we have moved up to # 128 in Kenpom and # 74 in Segarin. It has been ages since we were as high as a # 74.

And those rankings were from what original number?

After defeating drexel we moved up to # 118 in Kenpom. Segarin moved us up to # 68 as a result of Saturday's games. This does not include the Drexel win. That should be listed in the morning. I am just glad to see us getting some respect again.

Hope I have the right link:

This is amazing, we are in an area where we have not been for ages. Segarin has RU at # 35 this morning after our win over Drexel. Kenpom has us at # 119 after all Sunday games were completed.

Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather be where we are now than where we've been lately. But these rankings are pretty meaningless this time of year.

Sagarin neighborhood as of 11/12/2018 ... #30 New Mexico State, St. Mary’s, Arizona, Cincinnati, Vanderbilt, #35 Rutgers, Buffalo, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Northwestern, #40 Clemson.

Not complaining, but Sagarin has Nebraska #1.

It might not mean much but as of this morning we are now # 30 in Segarin. The BIG is ranked the # 2 conference in the country behind only the ACC.

think we crack into early to mid 90s by EOY.

Lets not overlook this. Both have formulas that have different factors and variables. This means zilch.

At some point kenpom turns off it's predictive feature and only looks at the raw data from this year. I think it is a sliding scale.

Bottom line finishing the year 80 or better would be great and a good internal goal for a fan. Still could mean 13 wins.
