Wade, a 2017 four star athlete from Clariton HS in Western PA was one of the stars I saw today at the Pylon 7 on 7 event in Woodbridge NJ.
Western PA typically isn't Rutgers territory when it comes to football recruiting. Wade told me that his mother's favorite college growing up was Rutgers so naturally he started to root for Rutgers as well. He was proactive and reached out to Recruiting Coordinator EJ Barthel recently. He doesn't have an offer yet but should receive one when he is able to visit the campus sometime this summer.
