Laviano is playing well thus far.

I can't help but feel any game we have CL as our starter will prevent us to put away games. He isn't the type to win games, his play looks like he's just trying to not be the reason why we lose.

11/27 for 152yds is a horrible stat line against a team that's suppose to be one of our easiest on the schedule.
If a game like this doesn't get him benched, well:
1. Our coaches are stupid
2. Our QB options are truly the worst in D1

I think we win maybe 1 more game after New Mexico to go to 3 wins. If grant is isolated, we have no offense because we don't have a QB that can throw the ball well to the recievers

We have 1 QB on the roster to run a power spread. Oden.

Problem is he is a kid. Play him anyway and let's take our lumps.

Enough of the sputter offense. Laviano reached his Everest. It's just not good enough.

It was scary with Allen in there. Based on his series, he has no accuracy when under pressure. Should have been picked off. He must have had that package put in for him.

Absolutely, We need to start looking to the future right now. Chances are we will probably end up with the exact same results in terms of win/loss should CL remain starter. And if that's the case, then it's still a win for RU.

Knock it off everybody! The OP is probably in 3rd grade, he does not know any better. He's just a kid!

With Allen i think he definitely looked and moved the part. I think that first throw was pure jitters. That would I'd like to see what allen could do if he got to run a few series in a row and get into a rhythm

He was 12 of 28 and 95% of his this throws were short and intermediate routes. Just awful.

Some pretty horrible throws except for the long TD to Harris. One bright spot is throwing the ball away when nothing is there. The only improvement I've seen.

Laviano is not playing well at all. He is limiting what could be an awesome offense.

I can get over the fact that he is not a threat in the read option. That is not his fault.

He continuously throws off of his back foot and he can not complete an out or a curl to save his life. THAT is a major issue to me. My buddy (who I coached college with) was texting me all day about his terrible mechanics.
