My hope for this season (with a team of players who are talented but really never played together before) is to make the tournament and see what happens after that. Once you get into the tournament, all bets are off (see Kentucky multiple times). We will know more about this team after the start of Big Ten Play. This team is loaded with shooters, but shooters can be streaky. Our star players are young, and they will get better, I'm confident about that.

The Vegas tournament will be very tough, but I'm eager to see how we play after that.

A two point loss is not a disaster.

2 pt loss but actually a 12pt under performance in a game Kennesaw turned it over 22 times. While the L ultimately matters the most for resume building, it’s a bigger issue than that looking ahead at what to expect from this team.

Everyone on this board write us off in 2021 after THREE consecutive losses to Lafayette umass and DePaul. And we still played in march, very similar feeling on these boards today. Relax.

Yea this is true. But a small miracle and we don’t want to hedge our bets on another small miracle. Though this loss on its own doesn’t have us there yet.
