Leonte Carroo Prediction Thread

This isn't a strong season for wide receivers.Carroo based on injuries and suspensions has lost cache as a 1-3 round selection.Right now its more likely he will be selected in the fourth round and he will be a contributor right away because of his skillset.
I'm not sure that his suspensions matter all that much to NFL teams. It's not like the league is made up of high character guys. Plenty of good people in the NFL, but also plenty that are not, shall we say "model citizens."
Absolute steal if he gets past the 2nd round. Will be a very good NFL receiver
Lol. Not a Browns fan either, but they are one of the teams that use advanced analytics to evaluate players. I was reading on a couple of sites that have Carroo as high as the #2 WR and #34 prospect overall. Yet the standard scouting services have him on the fringe of the top 100.
He's a tough guy to predict because of the perceived off-field issues. While teams may not be concerned having done their due diligence, there is still the PR consideration which probably limits his upside.
Perhaps one team will be so in love with him because of the advanced stats they grab him mid-second. I'd say Buffalo at #49 (2.18) fits the bill (no pun intended). If not, I don't think he lasts past Cleveland at #65 (3.2).
Despite what someone said above, this is an extremely deep draft at WR, but lacking in top tier talent. Outside of Coleman and Doctson there are no projected #1 guys out of the gate. But there are a lot of second tier guys, and that's where teams will be looking to differentiate.

Exactly. Is not this the reason the Rams traded up? There is nobody else worth the haul of picks they gave up. Maybe he slips to the Eagles at two but that's it.
That's because I heard the 1st Round is being called the Ohio State round.

I still, selfishly, think Caroo ends up a better pro than all of those picked in the first round.
The guy who just got picked from Mississippi. I saw him play a few times. He is bigger than Carroo but is he that much better? I don't think so. I think our guy is as good as most .
If Mel Keiper is right and the same # of WR's are chosen in Round 2 as 1, Carroo will know where he's playing by very early Round 3.
