He is not reclassfying to 2017. I repeat, Doucoure is 2018! Lol.

He has a great nose for rebounds,blocks, and defense. His offense is still improving.

He is definitely a great talent.

Why do you say definitively he's not? Not sure if this is allowed but on a Mod on the RT has said plan is otherwise and so has Hawk who seems pretty knowledgeable.

I thought Hawk said no. Regardless, It has rarely been mentioned anywhere that he was going to reclassify. That is what a Rutgers fan hoped in their minds, but not based in reality.

Doucoure is almost 99.9% sure a 2018 recruit.

Where are you getting this information is my point. If a mod says that's the plan and Hawk says the same today, why are you saying 99.9% "no". Do you have any inside info or do you talk to people "in the know" or are you just reacting to optimistic message board posters?

Optimistic would be him reclassifying for 2017. I am saying quite the opposite. Do a quick twitter search and you will see. Expect him for 2018.

My only thought on Doucoure is that there's no way for him to reclassify to 2017 right now, as there are no open scholarships. If asked directly, even if he were planning on reclassifying, he'd have to say he was joining the program for 2018... because the next question would be for Pikiell, asking who on the team right now will be leaving to open up a spot?

I'm "wait and see" on Doucoure's classification right now, until we hear about a transfer request. If someone gets released from their scholarship to transfer, and Doucoure still says he's a 2018, that'll settle it for me.

I and everyone else read the same thing before. That doesn't make you an authority on the situation that you have been representing yourself (99.9% sure 2018) vis-a-vis a Mod. You have no way of knowing that so glad you clarified your sources.

Mods said the plan is 2017. Probably not going to be much talk about it bc there are no open scholarships is my thought. If/when a couple people transfer out then I think we might hear the news on the reclassification
