live corey sanders game

I watched a good part of the second quarter & part of the 4th. Corey was doing a lot of passing and guys kept missing shots. I only saw him attempt 2 shots while I was watching. How did he do overall for the game? it was a typical All Star game with many guys looking out for themselves.

Art, interesting game. I only saw 5 minutes or so. Until NCAA basketball comes around next year, a part of me has a hard time watching some of these games. Little passing, or moving without the ball.

I only saw a couple minutes. I am happy you saw some passes from Sanders. I think we can be confident he can take defenders off the dribble, and a pass to an open 2-3 guy would give us a greater chance at hitting some three point shots.

Sanders seems to be best in transition and driving. Hopefully he's practicing his foul shots. I could see him finishing the drive and getting fouled a lot next year.

Watched some. Had a few layups, got by his initial defender. Couple times big guy blocked his layups. Had a few dunks in transition.

Hit a step back NBA three.

Typical all star game, very little defense. He really didn't put work in on defense either.

Far from the savior sum are looking for him to be. I saw atleast 3 times (in the 4th quarter alone) where a USA defender locked him completely down and he had to call for a pick to get em off him. He is good though. Jus temper expections - atleast for his first year.

The entire game can be seen now using the op link.

Watched it, believe Corey had 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Several turnovers, couple late.

Still not a bad game. He will face a little transition to college play. I saw him take some defensive plays off. Like somoene else said, tamper expectations.

6-8 pts, 4 rebounds, 5 assist a game.

Saw Myles Mack senior tape. He really had a great year passing. Just some really good looks.

Do all star games mean anything? You throw 10 guys on a court without ever playing together. A good or bad performance would not mean much.... especially defense or turnovers. Guys don't know how each other move or play and defense is always optional.

The guys in this game were pretty high level (Stanford, Florida, Va Tech, etc) and Corey still won the dunk contest and made many plays in an all star game where there is almost no structure and alot of incentive to showboat. I am still excited about this young man but of course he is gonna need some time to adjust to college game. I think ultimately he can be a very good B1G player.

The USA team won 95-86. Dozier was MVP for the USA team. Corey was selected as Co-MVP and led the Florida team with 17 points. I just saw this on a video clip that I found on google.
