They should talk and tell the truth. What I don't understand is how they were pulled into the drug ring. Where they being paid to steal back the drugs the drug lord sold?
It is like these knuckleheads think they are playing some fun fantasy game of Bad-Boy Hard-knocks Roulette
They think they are rough tough hard as nails invincible football players - bad as they come ... and so tough that they can whoop up on some scrawny local drug dealing dude - and maybe a few others ... it never dawns on them that scrawny local drug dealing dudes don't exist in isolation ... they tend to be "connected" (yeah - even if they never really intended to be - they are "connected") ... and when things get disrupted - surprising forces (in some way connected into things) emerge from nowhere and bad things happen ... permanent - never wake up bad things ... stupid!
Its never a good thing when a scholarship or a walk-on get charged with armed robbery, armed burglary and conspiracy to commit the armed robbery...especially if you are the 6th player arrested in less than a week.
This is getting played up in some of the media like it is a 'new' incident - when in fact it is not - this is the revealing of the identity of a previously unknown participant in the incidents in April. This idiot had a mask on - so he was not able to be identified by anyone ... the only way he could have been identified is by one of the other individuals who has been arrested for the crimes - so, it appears that there is some singing going on !
Dude should've realized he was dead meat & turned himself in to save himself the anxiety of the past week, as well as our currently renewed angst. No way he was gonna get off Scot free.

Dude was a total moron - probably thought that, as long as nobody could tell who the guy in the mask was - his "buddies" would refuse to give him up.
You are right - the instant that the other guys were arrested, he should have been in a lawyer's office working out a deal.
