Nice job by Mag today. He played under control including handling the fast break very nicely a couple of times. Most of his shots were good decisions and pretty effective. Overall a very game for him today. Good to see it.
I still have a stiffie from when he properly stopped at the elbow on the break and delivered the bounce pass for an easy layup.
From his stiffie?Yup. I got a tear in my eye.
I agree the next to me and I were saying this is going to be a charge from the half courtI still have a stiffie from when he properly stopped at the elbow on the break and delivered the bounce pass for an easy layup.
Same lolI still have a stiffie from when he properly stopped at the elbow on the break and delivered the bounce pass for an easy layup.
I thought for sure he would run the guy over, but he made the smart decision.I agree the next to me and I were saying this is going to be a charge from the half court
That's coaching. You can't always see what they're working on in practice, but I'm sure that's something they spent time on. Fun to see.I still have a stiffie from when he properly stopped at the elbow on the break and delivered the bounce pass for an easy layup.
Cam had one in the first half on a questionable call but point holds. My stat of the day, 0 Offensive Fouls (charges) today.
First half Hyatt penetrated, stopped and kicked it out.
Mag as said above didn’t over penetrate, even in fast break he avoided charge by getting a better angle causing defender to move and get called for a foul.
Recent game I counted 6 charges on us. Progress.
That’s a charge all day last seasonI thought for sure he would run the guy over, but he made the smart decision.
You’re right, just watched the game highlights. Cam in the first half with a charge. Guess I was just happy Mag and Hyatt didn’t commit any.Cam had one in the first half on a questionable call but point holds.

Great win an incredible team effortvery impressed today and very impressed with his work on the press
Does take a lot of work these days. They practiced getting stiffies?
He's been good on those. Wouldn't mind seeing some more post touches for Mag. He's a tough cover with his length and athleticismHow about the mid range turnaround fall away jumper. Looked like Michael Jordan on that.
Malcolm Gladwell said, in "Outliers", that it "takes 10,000 hours of intensive practice to achieve mastery of complex skills and materials".Does take a lot of work these days.
His books are excellent. Outliers is my favorite. It's a bunch of short story examples so it's an easy book to read a little at a time. Who are we to argue? 😃
Such an awful play. I get it. He hits it. Roof comes off. But 4 on 1!!!!!The Hyatt 4 on 1 spot up 3 after missing a few 3's on the other hand hurt my soul
If he had just made a couple I get it. You're in the zone and maybe you get the offense board. He had just missed badly on a few though.Such an awful play. I get it. He hits it. Roof comes off. But 4 on 1!!!!!
We had 1 1 charge can’t remember who but it was a terrible callMy stat of the day, 0 Offensive Fouls (charges) today.

Cam. Terrible call. Defender was moving and slid in front of him. Think Cam made the shot tooWe had 1 1 charge can’t remember who but it was a terrible call
His midrange jumper is excellent and he has very good moves on the insideMinutes should equate to production.
4 games last year since Purdue where Mag played at least 20 minutes, 3 of the 4 were double figures scoring.
All of the games this year, he has been at or above 20 minutes per game. The game should be slowing down for Mag, he doesn't look as rushed or "in a hurry ".
It's 83 points in 11 games for Mag. He's not taking a ton of shots, so he's efficient enough right now, where he's going to score whenever the offense finds him.
If you pencil in 8 points per game in the remaining games of the year, that's probably something we can live with. An idea situation is getting Mag up to 10 to 11 PPG, which is something we can expect to see.
The corner set 3s and his footwork is getting better. The handle isn't ideal, but he's within the framework of the team concepts.
