It doesn't matter where he goes if he was not a good fit in your program. If what I was told is true, and based on who told me I believe it, Pikiell didn't want him.
Why would he not be a good fit! Long, good shooter, good passer, but needs to get stronger. Just because new coach did not continue to go after him does not mean he would not fit here. We need as many good shooters and good passers and long rangy , lengthy kids as possible. Bad job not going after this kid. I guess time will tell whether the staff made the right decision.

This site didn't think so. And now they've added Iowa.
As much as I value being involved with site, I don't need it to tell me what offers a basketball commit had at the time he verballed. I've already stated what I know to be true about his situation. Now we are all moving on...good luck to this young man out at Iowa

Last year there were over 700 D-1 transfers and this year it's already over 500. Look, P5 coaches need to fill rosters in the spring. Iowa needed a stocking stuffer? Great chance for Dailey. But, wake me up when he transfers to IUPUI or Northern Kentucky in a year or two.

Go back and look at his actual offers (not interest, not if he prepped a year) when he verballed to Rutgers. The quality of pre-November offers is still the best criteria for high school kids and, yes, I know that indicts Bullock. Are there late bloomers? Sure. But most of the spring offers are by staffs scrambling to fill vacancies caused by the roster churn.
Go watch the tape! Do you think this new staff is all of a sudden going to get 4 and 5 star kids? Or kids that just play defense? You need shooters to win today , in the past, and into the foreseeable future.
