I think we can all agree that while we didn't win any games in Oct. or Nov. - the D was much improved under Ash's watch.

So why not hire a QB coach, or some other position coach who's also been a HC....and let Ash take over the D.

If it works, the team is successful and happy, as are the fans and alums and Ash. If it doesn't, we have Ash's replacement already on staff (a la Fred Hill / Waters....minus the batshit crazy part).
